La Maison d'être is situated above the lively market village of St-Just-en-Chevalet Loire, Rhône-Alpes which provides all necessary amenities during your stay, from restaurants and bars to banks and shops. Every Thursday there is a market around the centre of the village selling local produce and crafts.
From June to September the village swimming pool is open daily. All year round you can enjoy well marked walks, 800km of mountain bike trails and challenging road cycling.
Fishing, birdwatching and tennis (lessons available with your host Gérôme) are also available.
Winter sports can be found a short drive away with both cross-country and downhill ski-ing stations within easy reach.
